SMS Communications Consent

What TrustFunding sends, how you opted in, and how to opt out at any time.

What this is

TrustFunding (TrustFunding.com) sends SMS text messages to three audiences:

  • Law firm partner staff for back-office coordination on matters their firm has referred to us.
  • Clients referred to us by partner law firms, for appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations, and document-request notices tied to their trust funding matter.
  • TrustFunding internal staff for two-factor authentication (2FA) codes during sign-in.

Message types you may receive

  • Appointment reminders
    TrustFunding: Hi Sarah, this is a reminder of your trust funding consultation with Mike tomorrow at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Document request notices
    TrustFunding: We need your completed beneficiary form before your June 15 funding meeting. Upload at <link>. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • 2FA verification codes
    TrustFunding: Your sign-in code is 123456. Don’t share this code. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Funding milestone updates
    TrustFunding: Your trust is fully funded — final paperwork is ready for signature. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Typically 2–4 messages per matter, generally not exceeding 5 messages in any 30-day period. Staff 2FA codes are sent only when signing in to TrustFunding.

How you opted in

Clients: When you booked your TrustFunding consultation at trustfunding.com/book/<slug>, you checked a box that read:

“I agree to receive SMS messages from TrustFunding about my trust funding matter, including appointment reminders and document requests. Message frequency varies (typically 2–4 messages per matter). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”

Your consent was logged with a timestamp, the IP address of the device you used, and the browser user-agent string so we have a verifiable audit trail.

Staff: When you enabled SMS-based 2FA in your TrustFunding account at crm.trustfunding.com/staff/account/security/two-factor, you checked a similar consent box authorizing TrustFunding to send sign-in codes to your phone.

Opt out anytime

Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop receiving SMS from TrustFunding. We’ll send one confirmation message and never message you again unless you explicitly opt back in (by texting START or re-completing the opt-in flow above).

Costs

TrustFunding does not charge for SMS messages. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. TrustFunding is not responsible for carrier charges.

Privacy and Terms

We handle your phone number per our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing.
